  • Started as Morning Drive sidekick/update man as half of “Mikey and Vinnie in the Morning”, moving to my own evening show after 3 years.
  • Soloed in evenings for a little over a year before moving to middays.
  • Hosted “The After the Game Show”, the KJR Mariners post game show as well as Pre and Post ESPN MLB Game of the Week programs.
  • Washington State Cougar football post-game talk host, Co-host “The Mike Price Show” (football), “The Kevin Eastman Show” (basketball).
  • Post Game Sonics Talk.
  • Took lead in Baseball and Football stadium issues appearing in several televised forums and debates.
  • Conceived and developed “Fix-a-Field” volunteer program enlisting listeners as volunteers to rebuild athletic fields in the Seattle area and “Pennies From Heaven” drive that collected spare pennies for local food banks to replace revenues lost during the baseball strike.
  • Fill-in play-by-play for the PCL Tacoma Rainiers.

In addition to the above I have created and hosted several special programs dealing with sports issues including: “Home Run…a sports obsession”, “The Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary Special”, “Racism in Sports…does money buy equality ?”, “High School Sports…are we learning anything?” and “Baseball…..a musical celebration”. I have been a fill-in host for ESPN’S Gamenight and All Night national radio programs.  I also am a frequent contributor to KING-TV’s “Up Front with Robert Mak” public affairs program and am an on call Official Scorer for The Seattle Mariners.

 

AWARDS: “Seattle Weekly’s Best of 2004” award as Seattle’s best Sportstalk Host, KING-TV Evening Magazine’s Biggest Sports Fan 2002 and 2003, New Century Media Presidents Award 1995 and 1996, Shane Company Top Spot of the Quarter Award 4 times and been on staff of stations that have won the Large Market Station of the year and the Gavin Station of the Year Award and several Murrow Awards including Best Newscast 2005 of which I was a member of the afternoon news team.
